Record Future Proof Games

Introduction

Welcome to the website dedicated to record future proof games!

They are particular types of chess problems, where “proof game” means that a given position must be reached in a specified number of moves (with unique solution in general, see an example below), “future” means that those proof games are showing a particular appealing structure, and “record” means that only best renditions are collected (see the "Theory" window for more explanations about the way records are determined).

The “Record FPGs” menu contains the collected material (divided into four sections, regularly updated) while the “Open Problems” menu contains an ordered list of yet unsolved challenges. Finally the “Theory” menu explains in details what a future proof game is.

To see the specific page where a given problem is presented, you can select it via its symbolic notation (after having opened the right section where it is listed). You can also enter some keyword(s) in the "Your search" menu in order to get all the problems fulfilling one of your keywords. If you want to get the list of problems fulfilling all of your keywords, put them into quotation marks " ".

Have fun browsing this website!
